Clarisonic Skincare System Review

When you hear that something can remove up to 6x more make-up and generally increase the healthiness of your skin you sit up and listen right... well this is the latest gadget that every girl should desire this Christmas.

We were recently sent a Clarisonic Skincare System & Spot Therapy Kit to try out and had no preconceived idea as to exactly what this little box of goodies did or the results it gave. Interestingly enough the company who make these (Sonicare®) revolutionised the oral care market with electric toothbrushes... and they have now obviously turned their hand to the skincare side of things using similar technology.

The product has literally just been launched in the UK after phenomenal success in the States. To describe what exactly it is... well, it’s a ‘sonic’ brush that you apply to your face (oh, don’t forget to add some non-abrasive cleanser first. The brushes are extremely soft and you simply let them do the work.

The days of cleanser pads are over... well for some, this product retails for around £170 which may seem like a whole lot of cash (and it is) BUT, what you have to remember is that this product is worth its weight in gold because it cleans your skin like nothing else (no pressing harder with makeup remover pads definitely isn’t the same) and therefore makes your skin look healthier and you ‘younger’... now you can’t put a price on that can you! You only need to use it for 60 seconds a day so it’s not a huge chore either... in fact it’s far quicker than the makeup pads.

Yes it is a luxury, but we say it’s definitely worth the money from the experience we have had with it. I have to say that it’s still too early to give you ‘proper’ results from treatment, but after 6 uses I can certainly tell the difference in skin cleanliness and healthiness.

The Clarisonic Skin Care System is available to purchase initially at Space NK stores nationwide (for a list of stockists visit www.spacenk.co.uk), and replacement brush heads will be sold separately.
