This week’s fashion blog of the week is the well deserved ParkAndCube.com, which was set up by Shini, a Graphic Design student at Central Saint Martins, while also working part-time as a freelance webdesigner.

I wanted to ask Shini how it all got started and how she captivates her audience.

She says; "It all started at the end of 2008. I was following a bunch of fashion blogs, at which point I realised that a lot of the beautiful accessories and clothes that were being posted were probably quite easily DIY-able. So that's when I opened a blog dedicated to DIY tutorials and my style. I was always interested in style, but I might say that the blog was my proper entry into the fashion world".

"I always hope that my readers can take something each time they visit. Whether it be inspiration for their own styling, DIY tutorials or even just a mood uplift. So I focus on keeping the mood of my blog lighthearted and easygoing".

Shini certainly manages to achieve this as her blog is fun, inspiring and exciting to read. If you want to be inspired this is one must-read blog you should access.

Sarah-Jane Gardiner has always known that she wanted to be a fashion stylist, so when school was over she secured a place at college to study for a fashion design course, and really found her calling when she went on to take a fashion styling degree at university.
