Welcome Guest
As the days roll into autumn, most people’s idea of winter colours is Black, Grey, and Brown or sometimes more often than not… even more Black! But this year, why not break from tradition and give Camel a go. It’s a rich, warm colour that reminds me of sunny autumnal days. It’s still synonymous with luxury and wealth, think Cashmere knits and scarves but it’s defiantly been brought, ‘bang on trend’ this season. I’m not suggesting you wear it head to toe, although you can if you want, but a few key pieces will look great - think grown up glamour. The other day I noticed a pair of camel wool trousers being teamed up with last season’s denim shirt, which I thought was a really great look.
With it being a luxurious colour, it also looks great in suede, satin, wool and chiffon. Chloe have produced some beautiful separates, trousers and gorgeous accessories in their ready to wear collection, all of which I’ve fallen in love with. But if you’re not lucky enough to be able to afford their pieces or that genie in the lamp says you’ve run out of wishes then there are plenty of cheaper alternatives out there on the High Street. Look to Next, Warehouse and Mango if you’re stuck. In fact you won’t have to look too hard to spot yourself something pretty to buy.
But don’t stop at clothes, there are some lovely camel coloured, lady like bags out there at the moment. Or, if camel is too daring to wear and you want to experiment with make-up, why not try adding a matching lipstick to your look? Try Colour Burst in Blush £7.99 from Revlon or Empowered £12.50 maccosmetics.co.uk, or if you have more of a budget I would recommend purchasing the Rouge Volupté in Sensual Silk, £21 YSL.

Shopping is a chore for some, a joy for most but for some it’s an addiction identified by varying labels, and commonly understood as compulsive shopping. This condition mainly afflicts women and a trawl through the net gives myriad reasons for the disorder.
