Career highlight to date?

Getting my first job as a web designer many years ago, that was the start of everything! The reaction to Online Fashion 100 was great, so that was definitely a highlight too.

Fondest childhood memory?

Well, two memories which have possibly set me up for what I do today are going to The Clothes Show with my parents and getting a PC/the internet for the first time.

Most stylish country and why?

The internet - one day the web will have country status!

What’s the best and worst thing about digital marketing within fashion?
It's great for me as it mixes in fashion with technology (I can be geeky when required)!

Most stylish haunt in London?

The web is more stylish than any physical place can ever be for anyone; simply because as subjective and personal as style is, there's a website or online community for us all.

What’s all this I hear about your new venture... tell me more!

The Online Fashion Agency is an expert resource on fashion websites. We'll be helping shoppers by recommending where they should shop online and show them ways to save money. Plus we'll be providing industry news to retailers and people who want to set up their own fashion websites.

We're launching with the fashion and beauty division of Amethyst Group, which provides warehousing and fulfilment solutions to retailers, and Olswang, a firm specialising in media and retail law.

If you could work with any fashion brand who would it be and why?

dVb, which is Victoria and David Beckham's brand. They're in need of a rich web experience to enhance their fashion and beauty offering - with the right strategy they could easily have the most visited fashion website in the UK within 18 months, and make a tidy profit (not that they need it!).

Most inspirational person in online fashion?

Everyone in the Online Fashion 100 list, including you guys at iStylista!

Any advice and tips you can give to someone looking to get into digital marketing within the fashion industry?

Follow the market. Every day you should read up on who's doing what and analyse why; just be aware of what's going on and think about how things can work better. Of course, subscribe to the newsletter from The Online Fashion Agency!

What’s next for Leon

I'm working with the team at Fashshot, the largest e-commerce photographers in the UK, on video production for fashion brands. We're producing a weekly online TV show for a major broadcaster which is exciting.

I'll be judging the Drapers Etail Awards again and as well as the Handbag.com Online Fashion Awards, which the public can vote in.

The Online Fashion Agency's consulting division will be keeping me busy too, particularly with online shoe store Shudoo.co.uk where we have some exciting things lined up for 2010.

Plus, I'm interviewing fashion bloggers for a fashion store Oli.co.uk's blog Style Notes.

There are other things in the pipeline too, which will be revealed soon!
