Welcome Guest
They keep me warm, something I need to be on a daily basis and can look incredibly stylish when worn with the right outfit of course! I must admit I have been wearing my Alexander McQueen scarf a little too much, which seems to just compliment everything I own but somehow I’m getting a wee bit bored of it now.
As a stylist I’m always discovering new upcoming designers and just last week I was introduced to Mia Jafari London, a new label specialising in luxury hand-finished, limited edition silk scarves. I just couldn’t wait to check out the collection for myself. This season sees the Central St Martins and Goldsmiths graduate Mia Jafari, a British-Iranian London-based artist launch her debut scarf collection, ‘Ladybirds (heart) Strawberry Cosmos’ with absolute conviction. The collection of 9 scarves exudes a stunningly vibrant jewel-like luxurious feel and introduces you to a dazzling world where majestic creatures such as gem-encrusted birds along with enchanted trees dripping with strawberry pink muffins form the backdrop to captivating Eastern landscapes.
The collection features two different styles; a handkerchief shape or a long style, which gives two versatile options for anyone to wear and with witty names like Berrypolitan and Midnight Mojito they are must-have for any city girls wardrobe. My favourites are the Hurricane and Berrypolitan scarves without a shadow of a doubt and since I purchased them I literally haven’t stopped wearing them – these have definitely become my new summer additions.
As well as her scarf collection Mia is also working on a showpiece dress collection that will come out in June. It's a collection of simple dresses that fuse the prints from the scarf collection with actual embroidery and embellishment. Exclusively I’m extremely thrilled to show you some of her amazing work in progress, see some designs of her new dresses – utterly gorgeous:

We all know it’s the first thing you put on in the morning and the last thing you take off at night; so it’s essential that your lingerie is the correct size and fit and is properly cared for!
Shopping is a chore for some, a joy for most but for some it’s an addiction identified by varying labels, and commonly understood as compulsive shopping. This condition mainly afflicts women and a trawl through the net gives myriad reasons for the disorder.
