Traditionally, making it in the world of fashion has been incredibly difficult with a huge amount of talent out there but very few breaks. With the rise and rise of social networks like ‘NotJustALabel.com’ it’s now become a whole heap easier!

Launched recently, Not Just A Label (NJAL) is a social network (yep... another one) BUT specifically for graduates and young designers to meet and showcase their talents.

The site is in fact an incredible place to get some inspiration as a young designer, it also emphasises that there’s some great talent on our own doorstep and hopefully employers and brands will start taking notice.

The site is basically a directory for fashion design and provides a great opportunity for networking in the industry. Whilst there seems to be a huge amount of fashion social networks out there at the moment, we’re liking the simplicity of this site it has to be said.

The imitative focuses on young labels and students of the main fashion design schools in London, Antwerp, Berlin, Milan and Vienna.

Good luck to the team at NJAL. Check out their site today, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
