Welcome Guest
Between January and April, if you are aged between 18 and 26 and combine a love for the planet with beauty, poise and grace, then you need to enter your Miss Earth Girls 2010 at www.missearthgirls.co.uk.
There are 9 regional finals in England, four in Scotland, two in Wales and six in Northern Ireland to apply for, each giving you gorgeous young women the chance to be advocates for Mother Earth and prove that beauty is much, much more than skin deep!
But this is no ordinary beauty pageant... oh no! During your participation, you will plant trees, raise funds for your own chosen charity, attend environmental activities, act as a spokeswoman for environmental thoughts and educate people on green issues, in particular the three R’s (reduce, reuse and recycle).
Grand Finalists to be announced on the 5th June, which is World Environmental Day, with regional winners finally competing in a glittering grand final Crowning Ceremony in August 2010. The four Miss Earth winners representing the UK – England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland – then go on to compete in the winter at the international final to crown the ultimate Miss Earth 2010.
