Spring Summer 2010 Safari Trend

When I think of safari I think wildlife, big guns and binoculars, but designers have once again made safari sexy, with beautiful belted jackets, rolled up shorts and straw hats.

Teaming these garments with chiffon and sequins has given this very masculine style a feminine touch. A super slimming outfit for this style is an over sized khaki or sand coloured shirt, rolled up sleeves and a brown leather belt to synch you in at the waist.

The combinations are endless so it is easy to focus on your own individual ideas. For example, instead of the shirt, you could create this look with a pair of khaki or sand long cropped trousers, adding a simple vest or tee shirt.
 
Accessorising with a satchel bag and a straw hat can really give you that bang-on-trend safari look. Add a pair of heels or some pumps, depending on whether you want to be casual or dressy.
