You can tell so much by someone’s posture when it comes to posing, most notably their level of confidence in themselves. It’s no secret that celebs pay thousands of pounds to get expert advice in ways to pose and carry themselves – it’s critical for them especially being snapped every 5 minutes.
So what are the celeb secrets... well, let me first tell you that it’s all about body contours and showing off those soft feminine curves and angles into a vision of two-dimensional perfection.
There are some cardinal sins so listen up...
- Never face the camera front on as it amplifies your hips. Instead, stand at a slight angle and place one foot in front of the other to create a curvy line.
- The upper arms should remain close to the body but not touch it... you don’t want any flabby arms amplified.
- Keep your hands on them hips and tense your biceps slightly (if you are happy with your arms of course).
If you are not comfortable with a pose... don’t do it as it will look weird. You don’t need to go over the top, just try a few poses on your own in front of the mirror and find some that work for you!
