Style In The City 2009 - Birmingham.

Style In The City is back in September 2009 in its home town, Birmingham. It’s the most glamorous event on the Midlands’ fashion calendar and is returning for another three day festival of fashion and beauty.

Style In The City takes place from Thursday 24th – Saturday 26th September and if last year’s show was anything to go by then this should appear in your diary in permanent ink for sure.

As a visitor you’ll be whisked around the city on your very own transport system to experience a whole host of fabulous venues, events, entertainment and shopping treats. Bullring, Selfridges and House of Fraser will all be hosting exclusive events and promotions on every floor so there really is something for everyone.

We’re pleased to announce that the catwalk show dominated Style In The City 2008 is back and taking top billing and moving location from Centenary Square to a space adjacent to the main entrance of The Mailbox which will be known as ‘Fashion Square’. There will be a fabulous cocktail bar at The Mailbox and the stunning Jewel Room where individual designers will be selling the latest in contemporary jewellery.

Personal Stylists Trinny & Susannah will also be making an appearance and hosting the Style Academy at Selfridges, while the Pavilions’ hugely popular pampering zone, The Oasis, will double in size – offering more shoppers the chance to be indulged by a team of expert beauty therapists.
A one day VIP pass costs £25 and if it’s anything like last year’s event we can vouch that it’s well worth it. See you there!

You receive your 'Platinum' VIP ticket with great excitement, you collect your goody bag which is the same as everyone else's - no platinum treatment there, you go to 'participating' stores whose staff know nothing or very little about the event, your freebies are a box of cereal, bottle of water, and a times magazine which you can get on Sunday with your newspaper!!! £65 for what?! Could have purchased £12 ticket and received much the save. This event was a total rip off to anyone who paid for Platinum tickets.
