The average woman spends 312 hours preparing for the annual office party

According to some research just out by The Clothes Show live, the average woman spends almost 2 weeks readying herself the annual Christmas works party!

A total of 997 women between the ages of 18 and 45 were surveyed and I’m sure you’ll agree that the results are staggering.

Here’s the facts:

  • 72 hours were spent shopping for an outfit
  • 96 hours were dedicated to getting in shape,
  • 12% of respondents said they would hire a personal stylist for the occasion.

Managing director of the Clothes Show Live, Gavin Brown, said: "The Christmas party is the highlight of everyone's festive calendar - the place to be and be seen and it's no wonder women across the country spend hundreds of hours making sure they look their very best."
