The brainchild of the Bottletop charity, these bags are made entirely of recycled bottle tops and are extremely hot to trot right now. 16 people from the Street Angels community project in Salvador, Brazil to make these bags and each is handmade by linking hundreds of recycled ring pulls together in a crochet formation.
Retailing at £50, you can only buy them off the Bottltop website. Not only are you getting a rather stylish bag though... more importantly you are supporting a very worthwhile cause...
The bags are made in Salvador, North East Brazil by the locals. The profits from each bag help Bottletop raise awareness towards empowering young people through sexual health education projects, in Africa, Brazil and the UK.
