Who Should Wear Low Rise Jeans?

FACT: Low rise jeans can look gorgeous on very few of us but disastrous on most. Stopping short of the waist this style is adored by wafer thin celebs wanting to flash the flesh and those of us skinny enough to get away with wearing them. There are some rules of thumb with low rise jeans and hopefully this article will educate and in turn create a more stylish nation.

First of all low rise jeans is a relatively young look, ideal for the lady from 14 – 25 (after which we start going South!). Secondly you have to have a decent body to look great. Low rise jeans uncover a lot of things we like to keep a secret... I’m talking about those love handles.

It’s all about the body with this style and the saying ‘If you got it flaunt it’ has never been so true with this style. But if you haven’t got ‘it’ then keep well away!

You have to have an air of confidence when it comes to wearing low rise jeans, you are putting a lot on display... in fact one of the sexiest parts of your body, the natural hip and bum curves. If you are going to wear this style then you certainly don’t want to be covering the best bits up (otherwise what’s the point!).

There is nothing more unattractive than seeing your thong poking out the back of your jeans. If you are going to wear low rise jeans then make sure your pants actually sit below the back of our jeans. If you have the body for this style then this won’t be a problem.

Finally I want to have a rant about the disgusting Ultra Low Rise jeans you can see in the inset from Japan... I know the Japanese are super stylish and a little extreme with their fashion sense but come on... these are truly repulsive!
