The answers to most questions that ladies are wanting to know are; is a personal stylist service really worth the money and do they really help you?
I would of course be biased and say ‘yes, of course they are/do’ but I suppose it depends on the reason why you would want to use an automated stylist service like iStylista or book a personal stylist like myself in the first place.
There are many reasons why my clients have booked me for personal styling and shopping sessions; they have either been looking for a special Mother of the Bride outfit for a wedding, or some have needed help with sorting out right from wrong from within their wardrobe to generally needing advice and being shown how to create a capsule wardrobe, making sure every items works well with one another.
One lady I saw recently was absolutely petrified of going shopping and even declined shopping trips with friends. She found it embarrassing not knowing what she was looking for so stayed away from shopping in general. When I got the call for help, I was delighted and after our shopping day I could see her confidence grow. Not only did she look amazing in her new clothes but since our day out she has told me that she goes out on her own and braves the shops, not finding it half as daunting. Being a personal stylist to me is the best job in the world!
If you feel happy and confident in the clothes you wear then why on earth would you want or need to book a personal stylist? But it’s amazing how many people lack confidence in this area. The way I see it is that everyone wants to look good and feel great and this would normally come down to the clothes they wear, how they look or how people perceive them.
It’s not about being vain it’s about feeling confident and with all the media pressure on ladies then it’s no wonder most of this planet have second thoughts about whether they are wearing the right colours, clothing items to flatter their figure etc.
We have all got to make the best of what we’ve got and I believe it’s as simple as that, unless you want to go under the knife, suffering the pain of plastic surgery that not many people are willing to do.
Treat it as an investment that will save you pounds when it comes to shopping. If you truly know what suits you then you've got more chance of picking out the items that work for you and that you will end up wearing - no more impulse buys!
Whatever the reason, every one of my clients has seen the benefits of hiring me, whether it has saved them time or money in the long term, they can see real value for money. Recently I have received referrals from clients with gift vouchers being purchased for loved ones and friends to share the styling experience.

We all know it’s the first thing you put on in the morning and the last thing you take off at night; so it’s essential that your lingerie is the correct size and fit and is properly cared for!
Shopping is a chore for some, a joy for most but for some it’s an addiction identified by varying labels, and commonly understood as compulsive shopping. This condition mainly afflicts women and a trawl through the net gives myriad reasons for the disorder.
