How do I receive leads from potential customers?

Firstly, we ask every new registrant on iStylista whether they wish to be connected with a personal stylist when they sign up. Secondly, the simple personal stylist search facility is open to all visitors on iStylista.com (i.e. you don’t need to register to use the directory). All prospects will email you to agree the next steps. We can’t guarantee you will be sent leads, as it will be down to whether a prospect likes your profile and is looking for a personal stylist in your particular area.

Why do I need to agree to a complimentary 15 minute consultation with a prospect?

From experience, speaking to a prospect is 80% more effective for getting business than simply communicating via email. The prospect wants to get to know you and make sure that you are both on the same style wavelength.

How much does it cost to join iStylista’s personal stylist directory?

There are two options for membership. Firstly, there is an option to pay upfront for your annual membership fee of £500 (saving you £280 over the year), or secondly, if you want to take it month by month then the monthly fee is £65 per month (no minimum term contract).

Do I need to be qualified to join the iStylista Personal Stylist Directory?

We expect all members to have been trading for at least 6 months as a personal stylist, as well as having had professional training with an accredited trainer (with proof of certificate). We also require at least three client testimonials, a reference from an accredited trainer or image professional and an established website.

Is the personal stylist directory global?

Yes. Our web visitors come from all over the world and may be looking for a stylist in your country. iStylista is currently only featured in one language, English, so please bare this in mind when writing your profile. Your search optimised page will help attract prospects to you.

How much do I charge my prospects?

This is completely up to you. We recommend that as a minimum that you advertise a ½ day and a full day rate, but you also have the option to share your hourly rate if you so wish. We believe it will save you time when it comes to discussing with prospects as they will know what to expect.

How do I charge the people who book with me?

This is up to you. We ask that you agree payment terms in advance of your booking with your new client.

How many visitors does iStylista get to its website each month?

We receive an average of 50,000 visitors per month to our website. These are global visitors, many of whom register with iStylista and become loyal shoppers.
